The European Union laissez passer (EULP) offices in Brussels and Luxembourg reopened their doors to applicants for EULP on 25 May. The Frankfurt office will start receiving again applicants for EULP on 8 July, while its team can be contacted in the meantime by email or phone. All the EULP offices will be working on an “appointment only” basis until further notice.

The EULP offices were closed during the confinement period enforced following the outbreak of COVID19, declared a global pandemic by the WHO on 11 March 2020. During the confinement, the EULP Central Service restricted the interpersonal contacts as of 16 March in accordance with the measures taken by the European Commission. Thus, all EULP offices closed gradually their doors to beneficiaries. During the quarantine period, the EULP Brussels office ensured business continuity for urgent matters, while all non-critical staff from other offices have teleworked.
